We understand that the cost of college can be overwhelming, and that every student can benefit from the
encouragement and financial support a scholarship provides. Our goal is to uplift students who may have felt that college
was out of reach due to a difficult life event, tragedy, or unexpected hardship. We are truly grateful to be in a position to
help these students continue forward, pursue their goals, and build a brighter future through education.
This scholarship opportunity is open to students who attend a Howard County high school and are planning to graduate in
the year 2026. We are looking for applicants who demonstrate determination, resilience, and a strong commitment to
their future, even in the face of challenges. As part of the application process, students will be asked to complete an
application essay, giving them the opportunity to share their personal story, goals, and what this scholarship would mean
to them.
We are looking for students who:
- Attend a Howard County high school
- Expect to graduate in 2026
- Have experienced a difficult life event, tragedy, or unexpected hardship
- Show perseverance, strength, and a desire to keep moving forward
- Are motivated to pursue higher education or career training after graduation
- Can thoughtfully share their story through the required essay portion of the application
Application Deadline: July 2026 (specific deadline date is listed in the application materials)
We encourage eligible students to apply and share their story. Our hope is that this scholarship serves as both meaningful
support and a reminder that they are not alone—and that their future is still full of possibility.
